AppleがiOS 18.1、iPadOS 18.1、macOS Sequoiaの開発者向けベータ版をリリースし「Apple Intelligence」が利用可能になりました。MacRumorsが、Apple Intelligence Now Available in New iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia Developer Betasとして伝えています。
Apple is today providing developers with the first betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, with the new software introducing an early version of the Apple Intelligence features.
「Apple Intelligence」iOS 18.1ベータ版などで利用可能に
開発者は「Apple Intelligence」が利用できるiOS 18.1、iPadOS 18.1、macOS Sequoiaの開発者向けベータ版のテストに参加するか、もしくはiOS 18、iPadOS 18、macOS Sequoia 15のベータ版に留まるかを選択することができます。
つまり、Appleでは異例のことですが「iOS 18」と「iOS 18.1」のベータ版が同時にテストされていることになります。「Apple Intelligence」は全くの新機能ですから、Appleとしてもテストに時間をかけたいところもあるのでしょう。
要約などができるライティングツール、Siriを起動すると画面の端が光るデザイン、メールの要約とメッセージでのスマート返信など「Apple Intelligence」のいくつかの機能が利用可能になっています。
「Apple Intelligence」は「iOS 18.1」の機能として2024年10月にリリース予定のため「iPhone 16」の発売時には利用することができない見込みです。
なお「Apple Intelligence」リリース時に含まれない機能は以下の通りです。
・アメリカ英語以外の言語
・Siriの新しいアプリアクション
・Siriのオンスクリーン認識
・Apple Mailの分類とメッセージの概要
