iOS 15 Preview – Featuresを眺めていたところ「iOS 15」では「Google Authenticator」のような認証機能が搭載されることが分かりました。
カテゴリーとしては「Passwords」となっており「Built-in authenticator」機能は次のように説明されています。
Generate verification codes needed for additional sign-in security. If a site offers two-factor authentication, you can set up verification codes under Passwords in Settings — no need to download an additional app. Once set up, verification codes autofill when you sign in to the site.
ログイン時のセキュリティ強化に必要な検証コードを生成します。2段階認証を提供しているサイトでは「設定」の「パスワード」で検証コードを設定することができます。
追加のアプリケーションをダウンロードする必要はありません。一度設定すると、サイトにサインインする際に検証コードが自動入力されるというものです。
