Rumor has it that Google is shipping out its cell phones by the end of this year. It’s been reported that a Taiwanese handset manufacturer, HTC, will be shipping about 50,000 cell phones that run on Google’s mobile operating system.
Mashableが噂として、クリスマスのホリデーシーズンにあわせてGoogleが携帯電話「GPhone」をリリースするのではないか、と伝えています。
きっとGoogleマップやGmailなど、Googleのサービスとうまいこと連携してくるのでしょうが、先行している「iPhone」のUI体験も強烈なものがあると思うので、どのくらい競合するのでしょうね。
広告と連動して、何かしら通話料金が安くなったりすると魅力的かもしれません。
