「iPhone 12」リリースが例年より数週間遅れることをAppleが認める

Appleが2020年7月31日に、2020年第3四半期（2020年4月〜6月期）の決算を発表しました。その中で、CFOのLuca Maestri氏が、今年発売予定の「iPhone 12」のリリースが例年より遅れることを認めたそうです。

Apple confirms iPhone 12 will launch ‘a few weeks later’ than usualという記事になっています。

“As you know, last year we started selling iPhones in late September,” Maestri said during the call. “This year, we expect supply to be available a few weeks later.”

例年通りだと新しいiPhoneは9月に発表、発売となる流れですが、今年は数週間遅れると語っています。

2019年は9月20日リリースでした。このことからすると「iPhone 12」は10月中旬くらいのリリースになるのでしょうか？
