Apple is planning to launch a second-generation iPhone SE in 2018 to target the mid-range smartphone market, according to a new report on predicted global smartphone production growth in 2018 shared this morning by Taiwanese market research firm TrendForce.

これは台湾のマーケットリサーチ会社がレポートしたもので、2018年の前半にリリースされるかもしれないと伝えています。「iPhone SE」は2016年にリリースされ、2017年にはアップデートされませんでした。

台湾のAppleサプライヤーであるWistronが、インドのバンガロールで製造するとも伝えられています。詳細なスペックは明らかになっていません。iPhone Xスタイルの「iPhone SE2」のコンセプト動画が公開という記事も書きましたが、さすがにここまで高スペックではないでしょうね。

256GBモデルがあれば個人的にも非常に興味が湧いてくるのですが。
