新たに公開された特許出願によると、MagSafeでデータ転送ができる可能性があり、それを発展させるとMagSafeを鍵として使うこともできるようになるとしています。
どの程度のスピードでデータ転送ができるのかとか、そのあたりは全くもって未知数なわけですが、MagSafeに関して充電だけではない使い方をAppleが想定しているかもしれないというのは興味深いですね。
